OUR STORY
seven GENERATIONS.
Where Heritage Meets Hard Work.
In 1887, W.W. Tollett staked his claim on a stretch of blackland soil in Lavon, Texas. His start broke ground for what our family works to preserve today on our farming operation in Collin County Texas.
A hundred and thirty-nine years later, the family homeplace still stands. What began as one man with a plow is now a seventh-generation working farm feeding neighbors, restaurants, and folks who drive out on a Saturday morning to see where their food comes from.
Colby and Ashley McClendon have grown McClendon Farms to a 2,500+ row-crop operation and marketplace that works to serve the community where they live and raise their family.
