SEVEN GENERATIONS. FROM OUR FARM TO YOUR FAMILY.

BEYOND THE FIELD

McClendon Farms works to promote Texas agriculture across the state — serving on Texas Farm Bureau committees, Collin County Farm Bureau, USDA boards, community leadership roles, and TAFA through the Texas Department of Agriculture.

PRESERVING THE LEGACY

A MISSION BUILT ON SEVEN GENERATIONS

The legacy laid before us is more than a way of life. We believe preserving Texas agriculture is our mission, and the best way to honor that legacy is to protect it, speak for it, and invite the next generation to carry it forward.

01

Texas Farm Bureau

Active service on Texas Farm Bureau committees allows our family to have a voice in the conversations shaping the future of Texas agriculture. By working alongside fellow farmers and ranchers, we advocate for policies that strengthen production agriculture, protect our natural resources, and ensure farming and ranching remain viable for future generations.

02

Collin County Farm Bureau

At the county level, we invest in the Farm Bureau mission by serving the agricultural community right here at home. From local outreach and youth programs to supporting farmer-led initiatives, Collin County Farm Bureau helps strengthen the future of agriculture where it matters most. In one of the fastest-growing areas of Texas — where rooftops are rapidly replacing cropland—we believe it is more important than ever to advocate for the future of Texas agriculture.

03

USDA LEADERSHIP

Serving in USDA leadership provides McClendon Farms the opportunity to represent Texas agriculture through conversations surrounding federal agricultural programs and conservation initiatives. We are committed to being a voice for producers, young farmers, and rural communities while advocating for resources, programs, and opportunities that support the long-term success of American agriculture.

04

Community Leadership

From the classroom to the businesses in our community, we believe agriculture grows stronger when we invest in people. McClendon Farms is passionate about serving through local leadership, supporting schools and youth programs, partnering with civic organizations and churches, and donating to community and agricultural education events. Whether we're sharing our story, lending a helping hand, or supporting the next generation, we'd love the opportunity to serve you.

05

TAFA — Texas Department of Agriculture

Through service with the Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (TAFA) and the Texas Department of Agriculture, McClendon Farms is proud to support programs that strengthen rural communities and advance Texas agriculture. This work includes helping launch new agricultural grant and financing opportunities not seen in decades, creating meaningful investments and assistance for farmers, ranchers, cotton gins, and grain elevators across the state.

06

Agricultural Organizations

McClendon Farms is proud to support and actively participate in organizations that advance the interests of Texas farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. We are proud to support and engage with Texas Wheat Producers, Texas Corn Producers, Cereal Grains Research Inc., Fibermax Center for Discovery, National Association of Wheat Growers, National Corn Growers Association, Blackland Cotton and Grain Producers Association, Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. American Hereford Association, American Angus Association, Texas Tech Alumni Association and The Red Raider Club.

ADVOCACY THAT STARTS AT HOME

Whether testifying before a committee, hosting a farm tour, or visiting a classroom, our goal is the same: help Texas agriculture remain strong, productive, and understood. We do not take our family farm for granted. We work for it.

From our family to yours, from this generation to the next — we are proud to serve beyond the field!
